Northern Pegasus Bay Bylaw Review

Waimakariri District Council is currently reviewing the Northern Pegasus Bay Bylaw and how people use our beaches. This includes vehicles on the beach (including motorbikes), dogs on the beach, horse riding and training, swimming at the beach, camping and fires, kite surfing and land yachts, and the Ashley/Rakahuri Estuary.

If we all play our part we can ensure our beaches and wildlife stay safe and protected now and for the future.

The Council would like to hear from you on how these rules are currently affecting the way our communities use the beaches.

Please tell them what’s working well and what they need to look at again by taking the online survey here: https://letstalk.waimakariri.govt.nz/northern-pegasus-bay-bylaw
