Celebrating Matariki with Pegasus Bay School

The Pegasus Residents Group Inc. (PRGI) is pleased to once again collaborate with Pegasus Bay School to celebrate Matariki with our senior / Kaumātua members of the community.

We warmly invite you to join us for morning tea, where delicious scones will be provided by PRGI. Guests will enjoy a special performance by both the junior and senior Kapa Haka groups, and have the opportunity to view the tamariki’s Matariki-themed displays, which they have been thoughtfully preparing in the lead-up to the event.

The students have been working diligently on their Kapa Haka and creative projects, with staff putting in a great deal of effort to support and prepare them and their costumes.

This event is a wonderful chance to come together and recognise the meaning of Matariki in our local setting.
