The Waimakariri District Council is building a new cycleway to connect Kaiapoi through to Woodend and Ravenswood. This was identified as a priority by the public through the Walking and Cycling Network Plan adopted by the Council in 2022.
They are holding two drop-in sessions where you can talk to the team and find out more about what they are building:
• Woodend Community Centre, Monday 21 August 6-7.30pm
• Ruataniwha Kaiapoi Civic Centre, Tuesday 22 August 6-7.30pm
